Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the Vertexly app and services. By creating an account or using Vertexly you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Agreement

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app. Vertexly is an independent educational platform and is not affiliated with or endorsed by AQA, Edexcel, OCR, or any official exam board.

2. Free Tier

Vertexly offers a free tier with access to core revision features, subject to fair-use limits (for example daily caps on new-topic practice, Tan Chat messages, and mock exams). Free tier limits may change; we will always keep a meaningful free way to revise.

3. Vertexly Pro Subscriptions

Vertexly Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features (see the in-app Free vs Pro comparison).

Plans (UK pricing — local store prices may differ):

• Monthly — £4.99 per month
• Yearly — £49.99 per year

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the period ending at the same price unless you change plan or cancel.

Manage or cancel in your device subscription settings (Apple: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; Google Play: Subscriptions).

Early adopters who joined before 20 June 2026 may receive complimentary Pro access until 20 September 2026 without charge, as described in the app.

4. Refunds

Subscription billing and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases directly — contact Apple Support or Google Play support for billing disputes.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not misuse Vertexly, attempt to bypass access controls, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, share account credentials, or upload unlawful or harmful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. AI & Educational Disclaimer

Vertexly uses AI to provide hints, chat, and marking. AI responses may be incorrect or incomplete. Vertexly is a study aid, not a replacement for teachers, exam boards, or official mark schemes. You are responsible for verifying answers before exams.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms or pricing with notice in the app where required. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
